Meet the Team: Barry O'Brien, Colocation Network Engineer
Curious by nature and driven by problem-solving, Barry O’Brien has been helping shape Aurora Telecom’s network strategy and infrastructure since joining the business in 2015.
As Colocation Network Engineer, Barry is responsible for the management and development of Aurora Telecom’s colocation facilities and critical network infrastructure.
He has played a key role in driving initiatives to improve network resilience, strengthen cybersecurity, and enhance the reliability of services delivered to customers. A recent project involved the installation of an advanced Inergen fire suppression system across all of our colocation facilities.
What does he enjoy most about working at Aurora Telecom?
The people. A strong team culture, collaboration, and colleagues who support each other every step of the way.
Outside of work, if he's not standing on the sideline of a pitch or basketball court supporting his children, Barry enjoys swimming and cycling.
